Ali Waqas is a broadcast journalist with a strong background in current affairs and editorial leadership. He began his media career in 2015 at Mehran TV as a trainee and quickly advanced to Assistant Director Current Affairs, where he managed and hosted talk shows.

He has since held key roles including Director Current Affairs, Copy Editor, and Script Editor, contributing to major live coverages such as the 2018 & 2024 General Elections, 2022 Sindh Floods, and 2025 Canal Issues at Time News.
